IUPUI Jaguars – JAGUARS DROP SUNDAY FINALE AT ELON, 9-0
ELON, N.C. – Elon sophomore Erin O’Shea tossed a complete game shutout and drove in four runs at the dish as the host Phoenix coasted past IUPUI, 9-0 in five innings on Sunday. Elon claimed the series win after the same two teams split a doubleheader on Saturday.
Things began ominously for the Jags as Elon (8-1) banged home four runs in the first inning against freshman lefty Nicole Natter (0-1). O’Shea had a two-run single to start the scoring and Danielle Lafferty later connected for a two-run safety, ending Natter’s day.
